New Year Program-2083
Nepali New Year, or Naya Barsha, falls on April 14, 2026 (1st Baishakh 2083 BS), marking the first day of the Bikram Sambat calendar. It is a public holiday celebrated with vibrant parades, family reunions, traditional music, and rituals to mark new beginnings. Popular activities include visiting temples, feasting, and visiting the Bisket Jatra in Bhaktapur.
